i thought that the higher the exposore time is, the lower the F number is in Tv Mode?
Not sure, I remember it as if the f number is greater then there's less light coming in therefore you'd need a longer exposure time?
Still new here
Also found this neat addon that lets you view EXIF's in Firefox.
Tv ... Time
So the shutter time been set to 8 seconds, means the camera will automatically adjust the appature.
Because with appatures its all 1 divided by x, in this case 16, it means he had the shutter time way slow.
Thing is it dosen't look like an 8 second to me, unless your a man of steel (or used a tripod without waking the cat!).
This is why i spoodged on a 50mm prime lense that can work at 1.4 appature, which is quite large compared to my 16-50mm which is 2.8f.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
ye athats right, the higher the F is, the less light you let in but the shutter speed is faster, the less light you take in but slower the more light you take in if that makes sense.
You on Tv mode?
edit: sorry The F is the apparture value that can only be set on Av mode not Tv mode so i got them mixed up. f16 is very very high though and i am begining to understand why some are surprised at the result.
It was with a tripod. I got this old SLIK 960G-QL tripod. It's probably old because it's my Dads
The lenses are from my Dad's old film SLR's too, although this Canon one is the only one that works with AF as well
@josh - It was on manual. I'm always on manual using the old lenses.
