That is absolutely amazing!
How many tries did that take?

Cactus V4s Yorkie. I used to use a mix of cables, peanuts and propriatary optical systems, but with my a900 having dropped the pop-up flash and wanting to go a bit more adventurous these seem great. £80 for 4 receivers and a transmitter, and best of all it's not my money
Love your viaduct shot, would be very tempted to clone out the guy on the left though.
HSK, cool model and lighting, but some kind of spherical blur filter afterwards? It steps in very harshly and out of the plane of focus. Maybe loosen up your blacks a bit too?
Thanks brammers, yep you're right....was experimenting with a PS plug in, too see if it would add anything to the shot.
I kinda rushed that shot, didn't get the exposure right - this ones with a bit of PP I did to save it, needs a little more tweaking though, i'll try your suggestion! cheers!

Another from the same session...
I like that one even more

Couple of great shots Rox0r. Brilliantly worked and presented.
Love the Viaduct as well. Don't mind the walker - gives it a sense of scale.

First go at a portrait type shot - using an old manual focus 50mm F1.7 picked up for a few quid of gumtree.
Any advice in relation to portraits welcomed.
RE portraits, i'd tell your model to get a haircut
With the viaduct, i think the walker makes the shot. It really adds some depth to an otherwise just nice shot. Nuclear winter styley
They are our foals from the last two years - Ebony in the front is 10 months old, Maisy to the rear is exactly 12 months older. Pure bred Fell ponies in their winter coats are what you would call shaggy.
roxor how are you setting up the dropper etc?
For this session I was using some spare parts from an old watercooling loop. I had a length of tubing with a valve on the end that I could open/close to set the amount of drippage. I taped the tube vertically to the kitchen cupboard above the worktop with a funnel in the top of the tube for refilling. Shoved a plate underneath and set up my flash on the old gorrillapod to the right on the worktop and off we go.
A couple more...

Out and about today with the new Tamron 17-50 and my Canon macro:
The wasps have arrived already!
Not sure what this was doing in the middle of a field...
