Indeed it does Bob most of the time, I just added a few optional other bits like glow, Orton noise, vignette etc.

Yeah - was considering this. Were you just saying that because it's possible, or because the pictures look out of focus?

Not sure how well micro-adjustment will work on my 17-50 - isn't it supposed to be better on prime lenses?

Mine today is a proper (in focus) shot with the D70 and the new 680nm IR filter. I preset yet another new white balance, as the 720nm balance was sooooo off, AND, thanks fto modifying cameras and selling on, I can now actually afford to get my DF70 professionally converted to full time IR.

all my lenses bar my 28 1.8 have needed micro adjustments on my 50D..
