Apart from being a new type for me, the light in that shot is everything. Don't mind saying I'm quite proud of it (all due credit to the Sun and other environmental phenomena )

@ Yamangman, not half! I always like seing the Hart/Demon/Glad, but always find good shots hard to pull off for some reason. I find more and more that I get my favourite shots outside of the show proper, having a gorgeous place like OW to shoot at doesn't half help.

Here's one from East Midlands today (5th)

where do you go for those shots, on the back road to castle donny or the 453 near the M1 ?

This was off the 453, first time I'd been down that end. I wanted to get some night shots, but failed miserably Best I got was as the sun went down before the rain started.

1st one has some nice rich colours and nice lines, not a bad shot at all.

2nd one..oh dear. I'm afraid the PP looks like you've uploaded it only half way through the job? The 'halo' around the building edge just screams of poor photoshop brushing. I'm going to assume you burned the sky area to try and bring the exposure closer to the building; you need to make better use of masking and selection for this instead of laying into it with a brush.

yea 2nd one i tried to match the sky's exposure to the building using the brush tool in lightroom.

is this one better then the 2nd one?
