Yes, a digger, on an 'island' (is it big enough to call it that?!) Actually 2 diggers if you look at the top left too. Wish I had something better than my compact to shoot with!
Thats why i try to bring my camera wherever i go! u never know when there is something interesting to shoot
Nothing fancy but I felt like getting a photo up. I've lost a lot of motivation since my laptop was stolen. All my New Zealand photos were backed up on my desktop PC back in Britain apart from the photos I've taken since the middle of February. I had everything backed up onto an external hard drive, but of course they stole that too.
This is the road to Akaroa, not far from Christchurch. I got a few snaps from Christchurch but we were there on business and one of the guys we were meeting only gave a quick tour of the suburbs to fill time before meeting the others. Kind of hard to take interesting photos of run down houses when you're cruising past at 20-30mph.

a lovely Russian lady who is over here studying - met her on Thursday night and she expressed an interest in having a shoot.. told her i was free Friday Afternoon for an hour, so here's one of the first shots from the session
