Here's a couple of IRs, mono & colour, from todays shoot, first major run out of the year. D70IR, 720nM.
Now those are something g8ina. Noticeable step up (in my eyes, as I'm not into IR stuff) from previous photos.

Note to Self: It is very cold and windy in Edinburgh today, wear your coat when going outside...

Thanks Kal and Ani, more of same in my Flickr....
So far I've not tried any serious false colour with the D70 as, at 720nM, you aint gonna get that much, but I do like the way these have turned out. Shot in RAW and mucked about with in CS5, could never have got it done at JPG !
Very Nice. Background is perfectly out of focus. What kit did you use?
What do you use to edit your raws? One thing that did jump out at me, is that you seem to have quite a bit of grain/noise in the background, perhaps caused by the sharpening? If you are using Lightroom (and presumably ACR), you can use the "Masking" bit of sharpening so that you don't sharpen the background. The Noise reduction function will also work to reduce the grain, but if it's caused by the sharpening you can easily prevent it.

Taken on my 4S, not bad if you ask me.. but they don't do the scenery justice, that's for sure
Its bonny down at that side of the lake - always head there if we have a combination of mist and high water. Hot today - up Blencathra via Sharp Edge and was red hot.
Yeah, it was very nice down there, we even had 3 model airplanes flying about putting on a bit of a show. Flying upside down and doing flips, was ace!
Headed to Aira Force waterfall afterwards, but my phone had died before we got to there. That was pretty cool, looking down on the waterfall from the bridge above, with a lovely rainbow in the mist. Would've been perfect for a proper photographer with a DSLR.
Spent £11 on parking today.. Ridiculous!
