Loving the sharpness, the fact the moon stands out from the obsidian black sky, but still got some mad CA. I'm guessing your sharpening it a lot in postpro?
If you zoom on the bottom right edge of the moon, you can probably see some cyan. I'd hazard an educated guess you had a little bit to start with, maybe caused by a teleconverter, which has then been made stronger by the sharpening. I'll thrown in its a laplacian filter, without any guassian convolving too. It's been a while since school thou, so I might be talking crap.

Looks a bit like highlight fringing to me as I see it around most of the high contrast edge, perhaps sharpening artifact. Nice though.

Single shot - 100-400L with x2 tele - hardly any sharpening - i guess some time spent could eliminate the small amount of CA..
last use of the 100-400L before returning today - again with x2 tele

That is tremendously sharp for a single without post pro! What was the teleconverter out of interest?
It appears the 100-400L is a sharp lens, but with sub-par CA:

It is interesting to look at the difference on a cheapo Dell TN panel, and a proper IPS jobbie at home.

CA = chromatic abberation?
I can only see very minor specks here if i go looking for it - mainly around the craters near the top.
Again, same with the cyan - around the lower-left of the image, but only after you pointed it out.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Fires are tricky aren't they? For what it's worth, it looks like a nice stove installation. The pic isn't that glamorous though
If you wanted to improve it, firstly get completely level so as to avoid perspective distortion (correctable in software, but nicer not to have to). The light isn't very flattering (on-board flash?). Get a tripod and get more natural light in there, or at least softer/diffused light (tripod will also help to get a more level shot). The exposure for the fire is pretty good, it's the background that needs to be balanced with it. In PP you can do some more balancing, perhaps use dodge+burn to help, and I'd look at your down-sampling/compression as you've got some pretty nasty jaggies on the diagonal.
And if all else fails, find a heat-loving cat to provide a distraction from anything wrong with the photo
