Brammers what lenses are you using with the A900?
I was using 35/2 RS and 58/1.2, but I've ebayed both of those & some other kit in favour of a Zeiss 24-70 2.8 - should be here within a few weeks.
Also got a Konica Minolta 17-35 which I found for cheap, a Minolta 50 1.4 RS and a Zeiss 135/1.8 which is easily the best lens I've ever used and which I can't reccomend highly enough.

Brammers .... love the composition and clarity of that dawn shot.
Bobster .... nice shot, you cut the DOF a little tight though, right eye is soft. Still love it.

Lovely - don't think there's much I'd change about that one to be honest, maybe stop down a bit further to allow for blur without letting in quite as much ambient light, but it might turn out worse![]()
Looks good.
But at f/29, you might well have a fair bit of diffraction creeping in which will lose you some sharpness.
It would be worth trying at f/16 to see if it's any betterBut of course, your shutter speed would be faster, so unless there's loads of traffic, it won't look as nice.
Oops didn't see the current settings - don't stop down further, use an ND filter type thing or artificially low ISO instead then.
Thanks for the replies guys. Will try the tips next time I try to take some more pics.![]()
You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?
interesting landscape, but lacking depth, needs some contrast to stop it looking so flat

First trip out with Sigma 100-400mm APO
