First pics with the new lens (Tamron 17-50mm). Nothing special, just took the camera out to test the lens.

good stuff man, crisp macro
the new tamron looks like a nice piece of kit too!
I went out with my bosses daughter today and some toys, and this is what i came back with...
not the last we will see of this type of shot as its been playing around in my mind for a while... but its cool nonetheless![]()
I want laser pointers now!!!
theyre not lazer pointers... just led lights...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-coloured-LED...1%7C240%3A1318
there u go, like £4 delivered....
blue red green yellow and purple/ultra violet (what i did the wings with, is purple but shows up mostly blue).
What type of distance do they work at?
theyre absolutely rubbish as actual torches... but they do emit alot of light at the source, as its literally just a bright LED... which means you can do trails with them such as what i did in my last 2 posts...
the distance they work at is dependant on what you set the camera at... obviously its gonna be brighter using a lower f-stop and a longer exposure... btu it works quite well on a higher f-stop, such as 16 and a long exposure like 30 seconds... like what i did for the angel and devil... to light the girl i just fired the flash at her face when i was done...
its all about experimenting
and for £4, u aint gonna lose alot if you dont get anything out of them
you can even try it with a normal torch... have a go... the first trail one i did (before i kne almost anything about exposure, apature and film sensitivity was with a torch:
have a play with what u got![]()
