Oh dear. It seems my local City Link depot has closed and my stuff will come out of another depot.
The old depot was pretty good, with only the occasional dropped ball in recent times, so I'm worried now that I'm being served by a different depot, CL will be up to their old tricks.

I wasn't in at the time they say they attempted to deliver and sure enough, according to their website, they delivered my parcel this morning and it was signed by "Smith". I've not had a card through the door. Would someone at Scan be good enough to find out the address of Smith so that I can go and retrieve the parcel and ask what happened to the yellow card?

David checked City Link, they had delivered £220s worth of graphics card to a neighbour without putting a card through my door. As yet, we've not had an explanation why.

I won't put up with poor service from City Link. It makes Scan look bad and I have better things to do than run around after a courier, especially now that my "local" depot is 46 miles away after they closed my last one, who were as a rule very reliable. This forum and the internet at large paint a frankly dreadful picture of City Link and I'm not about to lightly suck up their reputation.

I don't spend a vast amount at Scan, but you guys have been my first port of call for 6+ years when I need PC bits, but seriously, if this happens again, I'm off.

I read and replied to that thread. That's really good news for you and me. It's a credit to Scan that they took feedback on board.
A sensible decision. Consider yourself back at the top of my preferred supplier list.
