    RMA Question

Hopefully this is a quick and simple question: How long does it normally take for a Graphics Card RMA? (It's an XFX card which is worrying me slightly as this seems to make a difference).

I know there is a 3 Day back log on RMA's at the moment but I get gaming withdrawal pretty quickly!

Thanks and keep up the Good Work Scan!

p.s. this is my first RMA in 3 years of Scan custom unlike some hehehehe (no names)

    Re: RMA Question

    Got it Thanks.

We no longer test XFX cards here at Scan. Upon receipt they are shipped to XFX and tested solely by them. We don't tend to get very many updates during this period until we are informed as to the return shipping date of the card. As soon as we have more information we'll update you accordingly.

    All the best,

    Re: RMA Question

Sadly patience is not one of my strong point so I was wondering if theres any news on my RMA? Lifes short and the longer I'm without high quality graphics, the more I'm missing out on life!

I know it's only been just over a week but is there any news? Also if it comes back as none repairable would I get a credit against something like a GTX 275?

Finally, will you be stocking the Inno3D iChill GTX275?

Thanks for your help as always very much appreciated!

Doesn't this mean it goes there regardless of reason of fault?

    Re: RMA Question

Yep, they go straight to XFX which is a good plan, hopefully will speed the process up rather than double testing it. I'm not sure if that was Scan's idea or XFX but it makes sense.

Just ashame that you can't track an RMA that then goes to the manufaturer for progress reports, we can track a parcel all over the world pretty much, so it would be nice to have something similar.

p.s. I know that on the Scan site you can track your RMA's!

    Re: RMA Question

We received your GPU on 26th March. We always ship to XFX on a Wednesday. Your GPU was sent to XFX on 1st April and is likely to take two weeks from this point. As we're only a week after the initial date of shipping, it's unlikely that we'd receive your card back within the next few days. I'd expect just over another week or so myself. We tested the card prior to shipping and did confirm the fault though, so it should come back repaired or replaced.

    All the best
