i reckon top 10 folders get a colour, purple, then it makes it more competitive!
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
nah, a folding team with only 10 places of honour? Hardly a team then. I think over 1M points. And an active folder maybe?
Just signed up and started folding for Team Hexus, my first time folding at all.
Afraid I can't do 24/7 just yet but hoping to put at least a C2D together at weekend for that, every little helps right?
Great stuff, get that GTX480 folding!
Your CPU would be awesome if yo could do 24/7 as it would get about 30kppd with bigadv units.
Make sure you come to us with any questions, we've managed to get through a few problems ourselves
should get 2kppd each
Every little helps!

Exciting, no longer is my GPU doing those unpleasant 1298ers, I'm now on to 1348ers which net me around 9.9k PPD
Thought i'd download the GPU client and give it a go on my 4870s... My score of 100k after 300 WUs is fairly disappointing compared to what everyone else seems to be getting at the moment.
Will see how I've got on later tonight/tomorrow... These AMD cards don't seem to cut the mustard
Since the change to GPU 2 ATI cards have fallen a long way behind nvidia for certain GPGPU workloads, including the ones used in the folding clients. The most realistic theory I've heard as to why is that the calculations done by the folding clients can only use the 1 complex shader in each cluster for the 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, and 68x0, which means you're only using 1/5 of the theoretical compute power of the card. The new 69x0 cards use 4 complex shaders in each cluster which should mean they fold extremely well. However, I won't be upgrading my GPUs for a couple of years yet so I've not gone hunting for folding performance benchmarks on the 69x0 cards
Performance is rubbish from what I've seen, needs a new core written for it maybe.
