I'm only on my 5th SMP WU & it's a 2M ~ 35 mins per % !!!
Well, remember that it's for science as much as it's for the points
I've got one of the new 4Ms, and my server auto-installed updates last night so it stopped at about 56% and I've lost ~ 7 hours of folding on it, so it's going to drop my ppd in the dustbin. Yesterday I was forecast over 9000 points for the unit, now I'm down below 7500
Well, thats the 20 million mark....

Hmmm, this 4M unit would have taken me over 400K if I hadn't had the delay last night. I'll be looking at another couple of days before I hit that now...
Anyone want to play guess the hardware?
I'll start:

I reckon it's a GTX 460

His/her PPD would suggest so.
Been a while since i fired up the SMP, are these 4M WU's common place now and how much do they benefit from a good overclock; ~3.8Ghz i7?

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Does the GPU3 client get larger WU than GPU2 then? I'm running GPU2 on my 8800GTX and the WU I get on that tend to be between 500 and 700 points...

I installed the new client and forgot to run the -smp command with -configonly. I've been kicking myself wondering why it was only single threaded its about 75% now. Instead of 6mins frame for this 250k unit I could have easily finished it by now!
I do feel a bit silly. But a word of warning to anyone else foolish enough to be doing this!
Since the new client only required the change of the .exe, I haven't changed the settings, and all went well. Didn't need to run -configonly again.
Wooooah! What's going on here?
