anyone updated to new nvidia drivers, 270.51 beta. i remember the last lot of drivers had problems for folding, that's why i never updated

Hey folks, just another random useless stat. Once again we've increased our monthly output (yay us!) and done our best month... I think... EVER! Extreme Overclocking only goes back 12 months, but needless to say that's a tremendous achievement, especially with the increased amount of press that we've had this past few weeks.

To put it in context, we've done as much in March as we did in the whole of March through September INCLUSIVE last year!

Nice to see the numbers still climbing, despite 1stRaven being forced to scale back his contributions a little. Well done everyone! Also up to 121st in the overall rankings...

I've just built one inspired by yours. I've gone with the 2600K/8GB/Asus P8P67 Pro and moved my GTX 480's into it, all topped off with a watercooling dual loop. i.e., I've swapped out my RIIE/i7 970/6Gb guts and replaced with a Sandy Bridge. I picked up a Vapochill unit on Ebay which I intend to cool this with, so I'm hoping I can get some decent clocks out of it.

That board will then become my server base as I wasn't happy with just using my p6t for a highly overclocked, constantly loaded machine. It has worked flawlessly for 18 months now, but something just doesn't sound quite right about it in my mind - selling my 970 and keeping a 950es to fold on is just going backwards.

So much for no new kit this year. It lasted nearly 3 months.

Also, glad to see the v7 client is finally out in open beta, will have to see how that goes, am putting oneunit flags on my clients now and will replace them in the morning.

Actually, there are problem with core_16 GPU WUs, so if you have a Radeon, don't even bother with the v7. And if you have a GeForce - you can just keep on folding like before.

In essence, there's not much point going to the v7 ATM. I'm still on 6.34 with SMP.

SOOO annoying, gone away for a week and left both my rigs folding, thought i'd build up some points, but 24 hours later they had both stopped producing, not sure what's happened! either power or internet failure, which is frustrating that they're both burning through power for no return. bad times

Well I'm back in the fold for another couple of weeks before my next week long excursion to Wales. I'm very impressed by the rate we're producing. Just a couple more bidadv units and we'll pass two more victims, landing us in 119th place. Top 100 by the end of the year? Easy!

I too have only been checking in and out intermittently at work as I've had a lot on, so thanks for the feedback regarding the new beta client. Shame that it's not all as glittery and shiny as it first appeared, but I suppose this is why it's now in Open Beta as opposed to LIVE. Them's the chances you take.... I do know that prior betas have been better news in the past though...

I've downloaded the stats for all the users so I'll have a bash at updating the spreadsheet on my rig tonight.

I'm on a "skeleton-folding-rig-setup" at the moment as I'm still installing the OS etc on my sandycrack rig - I've not even overclocked it yet...

For a brief moment Union1978 was showing as going to OVERTAKE me.
