Ouch! That's a low blow to give a guy on his birthday! I've booked off thursday and friday as holiday to rebuild my main rig which has been out of comission now for several weeks due to bent CPU pins.

note to self - don't be so bloody lazy EVER again, and try to swap out a cpu with the machine still standing vertically - always lie it down on it's back otherwise it's back off for another 10+ week repair trip to Asus, via Scan.

We shall see if I can make any headway back against the resurgent 1stRaven and his army of servers....

The p2685 bigadvs are nice, they take around 3 days and reward over 70k points a piece. I've had two consecutive p2685s which has bumped me up to 30kppd for the first time today.

I checked the logs and I had one of my clients do that yesterday. Sorted itself out in the end though.

Fingers crossed, I should break the 100k ppd average tomorrow which was my goal.

90% though a 500,000 as well which should be done in around 40 minutes

Finally got my rig running 2 instances of GPU3 (1 per gtx 480) and on my CPU. Consider me back up and running with the team.

Temperatures are looking ok so far.

Cards are overclocked to 825/1650/2100 and running 24/7 @ 65C
CPU is running 8 threads @ 4.2 Ghz, which has peaked as high as 93C, but generally sits around 90C running under 100% load.

I'm sitting here, no radiators on, with my dog fast asleep behind me, working on some survey work. Tomorrow I'm timetabling the stats update as when I tried to do them this weekend passed, I'd typed in all the data only to realise something was wrong, and that all the data looks tosh. Gonna rebuild the spreadsheet from scratch.

I think we all know that 1stRaven is going to be the top dog but I'm going to relish being ahead of him for another couple of days...
