    Incidently all the probs with the 650 chipset seems to be fro mthe UK only! Neither the rest of Europe OR America have any of these problems..

    Mate , that's not true. I suggest you look here before making sweeping statements like that.

    to be fair the UK/Europe got the boards well before the US so there are likely to be more problems reported already from here.

    As food for thought. When running CoreTemp with my e4300 and FP-IN9 I'm guaranteed a BSOD within 5 minutes; usually immediately after I start the program.
    There are some other problems but those have already been addressed for the most part.

    <--- From USA, the UK is not alone in having problems. The board only recently came available here for end users.

    hi it will be getting on for a fortnight unless this beta comes out today - which i am not pinning my hat on.

    abit can say all they want about finding out about the customers and being supportive etc - the truth is we want a stable product which doesnt have these VERY apparent issues.

    it is also true that i cannot recommend this product to anyone in its current state. infact i would go as far as to say i would recommend alternative brand products over this one, and will be doing so until i see a lot of issues fixed

    Bois 11 has been completed and will be uploaded to the website very soon.
    Best to check global site first as this is updated before the UK.

    There will also be a beta 12 sometime next week. I will give you more as I get them.

    The information was sent to me by the head of the bios team. He then has to send the informaion to the website department. Remember all of this is done at our head office in taiwan. As soon as I see on the site I will let everyone know.

    thanks, i am currently refreshing;

    ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/bios/fpin9sli/
    http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/downl...ET_TYPE=LGA775

    for the last hour and no change. i am just conscious that taiwan are 9 hours ahead? which makes it mid morning there - so unless the bios man is up out of bed @ 5am on his saturday morning i forsee there being a long wait.

    if you could obtain the bios and email it i will give it a go.

    They do work strange hours over there but I think we might have to wait until next week now.

    I would love to send you the bios but im at home now and I don't have access to any files.
