Not yet mate, I've read comments that people have had problems getting their pc to boot after flashing to it so it kind of put me off. .

Have you tried it yet? If you want I'll give it a spin tonight.

If you can please, im busy trying to get this IN90HD review out, in addition to looking over the AB9 quad gt.

Bythe way the IN90HD isnt a bad board for what its aimed at. Had a look at it over the weekend. its anice board but NOT (obviously amied at overclockers)

As far as bench marks are concerned I have tested this board under Everest and under 3dmark.

This board actually comes close to the in932 max beleive it or not, but only if you use a addon card, under 3dmark 05

The board is a bargain and overclocks fairly well for its price point. Although judging by the BIOS this board isnt aimed at overclockers. However as a gamer it has potential (ONLY IF YOU HAVE AN ADDON GPU)

In future my reviews will also have a test under VISTA

    Full review out soon!

I have that routinely disabled as on previous boards it could limit your overclock.

It could be that it was enabled in bios 10 (even though I had it set to disabled) cos temps under load are pretty much the same. It's only when it's not under load that there appears to be difference. So may be C1/EIST is actually doing as it's told in this bios if you get what I mean.

Bios 12 is a pile of poo Can't recommend it to anyone I'm afraid, I'm not able to overclock for toffee on it. The only good thing is that it is very easy to recover from after a non boot due to too high a fsb being set.

Bios 11 is very good and allows for my highest overclock so far at 450 fsb, so I'm sticking with that until a better bios is forthcoming.

*Edit*: 450fsb is not as stable as I thought Orthos fails after an hour or so

Beta 12 "b01" is the first release and will improve in time. I normally receive updates every Friday. If b02 is ready I will let everyone know.

also, a tip for all those with AC7Pro and standard NB. u can take the 72?mm (or is it 60mm) fan from a standard old school AMD cooler and wedgie it in between the gfx card and the AC7pro a bit of celotape and voila you have a solution!

That was/is my temp solution, though I used an old NB cooler as my wedge.

Sean - can i just point out that neither BIOS are showing on either the ABIT FTP nor the Abit Global Website.

now im okay because i found them elsewhere - but for those who dont know about Hexus, and maybe have gone to the abit website (manufacturer) as their first port of call - as you would with any faulty product - well they will be screwed.

not necessarily your fault but there is some slack stuff going on with abit.

any word on final 12? tbh abit are blowing hot and cold over support and these bios issues.

seeing as that's 12B01 I wouldn't expect a final 12 for a bit - they usually go through several revisions each of which take several days to compile, test & get feedback.
There are indications that the BIOS team are hard at work after Cebit.

Interestingly Shamino has posted a review on VR-Zone & he hit 475fsb with a Conroe (nothing like that on an E4300).
His conclusion pretty much confirms what we all know - that the hardware is above average/good but not being allowed to shine currently by the BIOS.
