To be honest, I've not bothered following the MJ stories after the news first came out so I was unaware of the suicides. That does come across as absurd, I agree, but considering the number of fans he had, I am (regretfully) not too surprised that there are people who will take it so far.
Actually, I think that people committing suicide in sympathy is kind of appropriate. We are losing losers and it's not much of a loss. How stupid do you have to be to top yourself because a singer died? Admittedly, I had a few beers the day I heard about Kurt Cobain, and emailed my daughter when Dimebag Darrell was murdered, but that's as excited as I get.
RIP Kurt.

MJ the game
This one is the probably the worst:
Get your Micheal Jackson Death certificate
It's everywhere. Even the supermarkets are stocking all his music on display.
Do you think MJ's family will bag enough money to pay off that debt he had?
Okay, I know it is The Sun newspaper but on this link check out the video on this page:
THE SUN MJ INJECTION MARKS
I know such newspapers print a lot of crap and this could be more crap. But bloody hell.
A real loss to the music industry. In my opinion, he simply danced himself to death.
He did not dance. He floated. With the help of the drugs that killed him.
His days contributing to the music industry was long gone.
He simply did a tour because of debt.
He is probably contribing more now he is dead as his music is is selling craploads.
Hardly a noteworthy source but;
Michael Jackson has earned £60million in the 50 days since his death.
[...]
Another £60million is expected by the end of the year – putting Jacko on course to beat even Elvis Presley’s beyond-the-grave earnings.
