"Explorer.exe has encountered an error and needs to close"

    'Nuff said.

Edit: I tried to get a screenshot of the error, but I don't run explorer as my shell any more, only my file browser, so it's a LOT more stable. So second on my list - replicating common errors when you actually WANT the error to happen, only to have it not happen.

Edit2: Oh, and I just e-mailed Odeon complaining about how crap their site was, and suggested they sack their web designer.

    Cheers Howard!

gotta love the "makes your hair 70% more radiant" line that usually follows, 70% you say... and how exactly do you measure F***ing radiance in hair?
I love how the allways have a CG bit that shows how the provitamin B5 or ceramide R goes into the actual hair, piss funny tbh. yet women (and I include my own girlfriend in this) actually fall for it every time and go out and buy the sodding thing.

    ok.... my turn

Certain flat mates who insist on leaving tea bags to dry out on the draining board, why? why? why? its digusting, its minging.... just put them in the bin!

Scally lads walking down the street with their blue lacoste trackies, and their hands down the front of their pants

Smoking in public places, BAN IT FOREVER!!

Bus drivers who cant drive properly and dont know how to apply their brakes, one of these days i'll vomit all over your bus and will not pay to clean it up

The new mabeline mascara adverts, they dont ever change their products! they never seem different, so whats the point?

People who ask you what church your from and then make u feel half an inch tall, when reply that your not and your a guest of someone who is (this happened to me tonight)

This will do for now, im still thinking

To ban smoking in public places is imo an infringement on my human rights (taking it a bit far i know ) and some could argue that me smoking is an infringment on theirs.

Besides i think in certain public places like pubs and clubs its to be expected, don't go in a pub if your gonna moan about smoke its just pointless imo i know i never did when i didn't smoke, it is by far the least annoying thing in a pub when compared to the 5 drunk twenty somethings in the corner laughing in possibly the most irratating way and shouting/singing at the top of they're voices.

And its something which equally irritates me

why should i have to walk down my street to have cigarette smoke blown into my face by every other person who i pass? Pubs and clubs, yeah fine people smoke in there ok. Going out for a meal with 20 or more people and 15 of them sitting there smokeing isnt fair, esph when they dont ask if you mind and then light up as soon as they finish their meals if you have or not doesnt occur to them.

What about my human rights then? i would like to think that if i was to look at an x-ray of my lungs i would see them perfectly healthy and clean... In particualar im quite proud to admitt, ive never lit up a cigarette. I even lost friends at school cos i wouldnt join in. But clean healthy lungs probably isnt the case, considering i might be going through a packet of cigarettes a week by the amount i inhale passively....

im not a person whos into clubbing and drinking everynight, but i would like to be able to get to the end of my street without stinking of cigarette smoke and choking half to death is that too much to ask? Its not my digusting, filthy habbit... its the people who smoke so why should the ones who dont suffer for it? you dont notice the smell, cos you smoke them all the time... we do though!

I notice the smell, i know i smell of cigarettes all the time, and as a non-smoker i can see why you call it a filthy disgusting habit and why you get annoyed, obviously some of these people you know aren't as considerate as they could be, maybe you should say when they light up if they mind waiting because you're not finished? As for not making it to the end of your street without smelling i've found that if im sat outside on a nice day etc even I don't smell too bad. Passive smoking is worse than actually lighting up iirc

I said in my previous post that i consider it one of my rights to be able to light up outside or in a smoking area and that its also one of yours not to have to inhale it passivley, its a big grey area imo and one without an easy soloution. To be fair there ain't anyone on earth with clean healthy lungs with the amount of crap floating round in the air now, i know that doesn't make it any better but its true.

It just gets on my nerves a bit when people don't see both sides of the argument and look at smokers as human scum simply because we choose to smoke and they don't, i didn't mean anything i've said personally against you so please don't take it the wrong way

    its ok none taken

but do u realise that lung cancer is actually higher in non-smokers then it is in smokers? and to be perfectly honest, that scares the holy rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish out of me.... having never smoked in my life, yet im more at risk of cancer then you are!!

And you wonder why i think it should be banned in public places?

Yeah, and its quite twisted that it works that way tbh, I don't wonder really, i see your point but....no, i've hijacked this thread enough for one night perhaps a new one in the morning because i think this'd be interesting to discuss by itself really as its something that affects everyone

somthing that irritates me, people who turntv's off instead of putting them on standby. The reason I keep it on standby is because it uses virtually zero electricty and it means I can switch it on with my remote. what the hell is the point in having a remote if you have to get up to turn ya tv on?
I used to live with some1 who allways turned the tv off, wouldnt bother me but it was my fecking telly! If I want it on standby so I dont have to get up to switch it on and off then I bloddy well will have it on standby.

    /end rant

    Just a couple for now

    1. People that don't put things back where they get them
    2. People (in particular my other half) who don't close the fridge/freezer properly after them
    3. Neighbours having their arguements outside loud enough for the whole estate to hear

Litterers. Flippin litterers. Who get take away from McD's then once they're done just toss the boxes and cups on the floor and walk on. If they're going to chuck anything away from McD's it should be the food! What? Have they never heard of bins? Do they think they're there to improve the aesthetics? Same with fish and chip wrappings and empty cans etc.

"Oh yeah, look at me! I'm grandmaster Chav and I'm well ard cause I can chuck bits of paper on the floor!!"

"Oh yeah? Let's see how 'ard' you are when I pick you up, ram your face into the litter you just dropped and then chuck you and your crap into the bin where you belong."

Then of course there's people who can't pick up after themselves. Who go to group events indoors, and you show up after they've left and there's stuff all over the floor. I feel like grabbing them by the collar and slapping them round the face with their crap until they learn to throw it away.

Oh...wait...it just hit me....even worse...prats who don't flush. Now maybe it's just me but I fail to see the complexity in the 'Use the loo/Flush the loo' system. What? Do people forget? Did they never learn to use a handle? Maybe it's the same idiots who open and close doors by ramming them, kicking them or slamming them, I don't know. There's just nothing worse than walking in after someone and having a foot-long turd peer up at you and challenge you to a stare-out. To top it off, there are even times you find NO loo roll in there with the 'Captain's log - supplemental'!!!!!!!!!!! What the.......? Please please please tell me they just have some weird habit of taking it with them and disposing of it else where. Not likely. Dirty bummed scum.

Of course maybe it's just guys...

OMG, the people who put sweet wrappers back in the box with the rest of the sweets. ARGH, how can you do that, collect them up and take them to the bin when you're done. Dont stick them back in the box so i'll have to ferret through them to find the last of the strawberry fondant centres, only to find you've already eaten it and its just the wrapper. death is too gd for some people
