Last shot's a great one - the tele has brought in that lovely scenery too.

Lovely shot
I like this one for the moment, rather than the image quality, which has suffered a bit
You did better than my attempt taken a couple of months ago: -
nice shot Kal, you're a lucky sod to have such a nice visitor in your garden - makes a change from the odd unwelcome cat we get!
From Studley Royal Deer Park today, need to process the rest but too tired at the moment
Nice deer shot, Ben
A good friend of mine is starting up her facepainting business and she runs a Saturday morning activity class in a hall and invited me along to take some photos (and I could really do with the practice!).
One of those really poorly lit halls, with just a few fluorescent tubes at the top making action photography (of 3 year olds running around) near impossible. I still need to work really hard at this, but there just isn't enough light to accurately focus on the kids running around. Decided to stick to the more static moments of when they were getting their faces painted.
The high ISO performance of today's cameras never ceases to amaze me!
D700 + 70-200vr @ ISO 4000, 135mm, f/3.5, 1/60s

great photos, you've really nailed the eyes
Can't see a speck of noise at iso 4000
from yesterday - not sure what its got in its mouth?
I'd have cropped the first two. Nice shots, but the backgrounds are very distracting, for me anyway.
Great pics Yorkie
Thanks Merdat
Rugger - I've already cropped the gull in flight a fair bit, didn't want to do it too much as it might degrade the quality too much but will have a pop.
love #1 there tftboy, a great expression
