Got everything packed up.. Fully charged my battery, made a packed lunch, stuck the tripod in the car. Then it starts chucking it down .
Just my luck...

I'm still playing around with mine trying to figure out how to do things etc, so any advice would be muchly appreciated
My better half's littlest one, taken last week:
I had a play with my Sigma 50-500mm today. I still think its very soft.
1000 pixel photos available on Flickr.
50mm shot of some rabbits.
500mm plus a 2x teleconverter of the same rabbits. Slight crop on this one.
50mm shot of Gloucester from the Birdlip lookout point.
500mm of the same area.
100% crop (At 1000 pixels wide) of the above 500mm shot.
A shot of Gloucester cathedral.
Not much room for improvement really - great shot.
If you really had to split hairs, you might argue that the flash has fired a bit strongly and the colour balance is a bit cool. You could either slow-synch the flash to let in a little more ambient light to warm things up, or just adjust the colour balance in PP.
Of course, to eliminate shadows you'd need an external flash gun and bounced flash, which would also help light the scene more naturally, but for the equipment you're using you've done great.
Stunning pic Kushti, you're giving me inspiration for my highlands trip in June. Edinburgh - Arbroath - Inverness - Fort William. If you can suggest any sights I'll do my best to get to them
edit: shame about the lens flare, although I bet that's hard to avoid up there.

whats with the slow shutter on the last shot Brammers?
hoping to get some fire poi shots myself over the next couple of weeks - flaming juggling as well with luck

Flashes too powerful so aperture needed to be quite small. Was shooting the front flash on a small cable, so couldn't move it any further away - triggers on their way thoughwhats with the slow shutter on the last shot Brammers?
Brilliant shot Kal
