Great shot yamangman, they are somewhat quieter than the F15 aren't they?! (and I couldn't even hear the apache from inside a car).

    Re: Photo-a-day

To continue the aviation theme. The Vulcan, Leuchars Airshow 2008 (no flight due to weather, just taxi runs but this was my favourite shot).

And for something completely different. Freeski final, Winter X Games Europe (Tignes) 2010. Bobby Brown Switch Double Misty 1260, photoshopped from a couple of pictures although I missed the landing and take off .

No doubt back to the wildlife/landscape theme for me tomorrow.

Some nice shots. Particularly like the moody Vulcan shot. Some new lenses arrived this week so planning a bit of variety over the next few months (got a four month break doing nowt but wandering with the camera).

Dawn at Blea Tarn on Saturday.

Lighting was dreadful I found, 95% of mine are duds. Most of them ended up like this except rather more misty.

Indeed, mind you, it did turn up shots like this, one of my favourites of the day. Does make me nostalgic for Old Warden evening shows though.
