    dont' like those tabs
drop shadows are too soft (and suddenly cut off leaving a hard edge), tabs are shadowless
    icon shadows are inconsistent
icons on the right menu should be on the left of the menu, not the right
style of the site is in conflict with itself
hovering over a product header no longer brings up a sub menu (loved that)
    no today only tab

i'm sure they'll be more once i've had a look around..

The one thing I miss is the filter to allow me to filter by manufacturer then sort by price for example

Thanks for taking it in the spirit in which it was meant - which was constructive criticism, not just criticism.

I guess part of the issue here, and you'd clearly know better than I would, is about precisely who would be viewing the site.

If you target the typical Hexus user, you're probably right - resolutions are likely to be higher than 1024x768. VERY likely, in fact. Hexites aren't, I would suggest, representative of the wider computer user, though. Almost by definition, they're largely enthusiasts .... cognoscenti, if you like. So if, therefore, you target all computer users, I'm not convinced that it will be the case that resolutions are higher. For a start, what about laptop users? They may well be limited by hardware, espeically for older machines (and not that old either). Then, what about corporate users? Not all corp users have high-res screens ..... or can adjust screen res, even if they want to.

Obviously, you'll know your target customer far better than I do (or at least, I sure hope so ), but I wonder if you'd be better targeting the lowest common factor rather than the "majority" user?

    Re: Scan's new website layout

I like the new site, just not liking finding products.

For example, I liked it on the old site, where I could go to cases, then select the manufacturer of the case and be provided with a list of all that manufacturers case's although I could be missing something which should be blatently obvious.

Other than that I think it looks nice.

On the left hand side menus where you have About Us, Contact Us.....what does the Delivery button do? The screen refreshes as if to show delivery costs or something but the page is blank with no errors.....
