I've posted a new thread for this but i'll ask here too.

    I have the FP-IN9 board, C2D E4300 with a Tuniq 120 cooler. However, I cannot stably OC above 2.25GHz!!

Even at a lowly 2.4GHz games crash and 3Dmark05 hangs during the CPU tests!!!

Please help. I need this BIOS...

Hi, just purchased this motherboard and having alot of problems when the pc reboots.

    My Rig:
Zalman 460W PSU 8 pins connected to board
    2gb DDR2 533mhz
    Geforce 7950 GX2
    Pentium D 3.2 extreme edition

I have updated the bios to the latest beta but still my problem persists.
The pc posts ok from cold but when I reset the pc the power turns off, I have to leave the pc for 5 mins then it will boot again.
I have tried all different components but the same, it only happens with this board and now I'm pulling my hair out.
I checked all temperature in bios and cpu is running at 49 even while playing games.

Everything runs fine until I reboot.

What is going on ABIT im very dissapointed

Please help guys is it just me or others having problems ??

use bios 11 not the 12 beta!

i have now installed my e6600 and am able to hit an FSB of 370mhz (the cpu wont go any higher on 9 multi without many additonal volts.)

    im now stable @ 3330mhz (370x9) 1.4Vcore 1.43NB, 1.43VTT. (dual orthos 30+ mins + Superpi)

so the board may be good for more but my new cpu isnt that much of an ocer unfortunately so i wont be able to test how far it does go.

Does this motherboard enable to lower the CPU mutlplier in order to see the max FSB ?

Right im using bios 11 and still the same problems, has problems posting from a restart or when the mobo has been on for a long time.

Is anyone else having problems with posting?

It always starts from cold but once warmed up the mobo fails to start and will not post.

Is this a bios issue or is it a problem with the cooling on the board, I never had this problem when I was using the ASUS P5ND2-SLI

yes you can drop the multi and raise the fsb but i havent tried that i want max cpu mhz and because you can clock the memory separately i have that @ 820mhz 4-3-3-10-16 @ 2.1v

bios 11 - i have a COLT start it wont post i have to power off and power on again, even with my new psu (corsair 520w hx) when overclocked.

it soft restarts fine however even after a few hours and orthos etc.

Might be that you need to raise your nb volt a bit. I get booted everytime. Hm, worth a try.

have you checked the memory voltage and all the other voltages

what kinda psu are you using

thirdly i found with mine when i had startup problems i always turn my psu off at the back and the plug when i am not using it to get rid of the boot problems i had on bios 10 i switched the power on the back of the psu and then count to 5 before i power up the pc if i did it before a slow 5 count before i started it then i got a 90% success rate and with bios 11 am up to about 99% start up rate

    hope this helps
