I agree min people are also want Game Mode for REALtime perview
This dose output YUY2 and PCM Audio you could just use GraphEdit or see there any programs out that are willing build to for this with AMCap Source Code

Who's talking about all the time?? When I watch TV I watch TV... not my computer. I'm sure some people have reason to play games on their computer too but I don't. I only use my TV tuner card to record. In any case I'm not thinking of using VirtualVCR forever... just long enough for some decent software to show up. I still say VirtualVCR gives the best picture with Theater 550... at least right now.

Pardon me for asking, but are you using a stone tablet and a chisel to write your messages? or is English not your native tongue?

I would've thought the Roman approach would lead to careful sentences!
I'm guessing it's a creative mix of machine translation and inspiration. I quite enjoy working out what you've written, SHSPVR

I've enjoyed and appreciated SHSPVR's input. I also visit his site regularly, and I suggest you all visit. Graphedit is a foreign language to me which SHSPVR seems to speak better than anyone. I guess its "horses for courses".

SHSPVR, please keep the comments and advice coming.

    Thanks

I am sure Jonas meant nothing bad; this is an international site, and there are many reasons we sometimes fail to understand messages from others.

    Thanks for your input.

Hi SHSPVR, thanks for the explanation. A good friend of mine has two profoundly deaf daughters, so I've been around deaf people quite a bit. Of all the people in the world he found a girl who had the same exact gene mutation that he does. Their doctors have determined that their offsprings will all be deaf (if they choose to have more). Of course the two parents are both hearing people. Watching their two daughter, it's hard for me to think that deafness is a handicap. They are brilliant delightful girls.

Please tell me more about GraphEdit.

SHSPVR: I've used graphedit to capture with this card, but I get no audio while recording with it. Do you have the same problem?

    Cheers.

BTW, your help in this thread is great.

Doesn't matter. If you can give me some instructions for both of them, it would be great

    S.

That's an excellent review. they even discussed comb filter, the problems with scaling TV pictures to a computer monitor etc. (one of my pet peeves). They came to the same conclusion as a lot of us. Thumbs up on BeyondTV and SageTV.... thumbs down on PowerCinema.

Is anyone using MCE2005 with the Theater550?

My system just hardlocks after a few minutes of video with the MCE app...
Its fine with PowerCinema in XP MCE though.....
I've tried both versions of the drivers.

Not quite... there's an ATI HDTV Wonder thread out there that's about 100 pages long. Same issues... bad software from ATI.

BTW where do I get that 'deinterlace filter'?

    Cheers.
