I suggest you store your stuff before trying, but has anyone come across a bug with the water? if you run out of air the damage you take pushes you down into the water, so there is no chance of resurfacing.
Got me dead with a bunch of stuff
and then while i was reequipping in order to go and retrieve a creeper blew my front door off

i would propose we get a "town" going, maybe keep our fancy houses but build secondary "sensible" ones which we can torch up and wall in to keep mobs out.
while the server is getting maintenance i think i should make a skin for the first time evar!

Server is back up, apologies for the delay, seems to be running fine. Good news is, I know the backup of the world file(s) works.
Have you moved the spawn point? I tried this morning at 9am to do some stuff around my place and I couldn't place or remove blocks.
Just tried getting on now and it's not connecting at all.
Yeah, the spawn point has been moved to a safehouse. You weren't able to place or remove blocks coz I couldn't remember your username to add to the Permissions plugin I have installed, but you have permissions now, sorry about that.
Also, the server was down because I was messing about with plugins and thought Sunday morning would be a good time to do it. It's back up now.

We should go out and find a place to build and if needs be flatten it and make sure we have plenty of Cobblestone/ stone for building and get to work.
