I'm enjoying playing with bees at the moment - there's so much to do I keep getting part way through one strain and then getting sidetracked.
On the lookout for Tropical bees if anyone has any too. I've found 6 NPC villages on my travels, three of which have Apiarists who trade bee stuff with me - I'm like a kid in a sweetshop!

I haven't messed with bees. There just seems to be so much to it. I think you can use different bees to make almost anything, from wood, to platinum and even XP.

Cool, I didn't know there was a MC server. I only had a cursory glance at the first page, but can't find any details about the server's IP or mods. I haven't played MC since 1.1 or something when they introduced Nether fortresses. Or that might have been a YogBox or TechnicPack thing, I don't remember but I basically ruined my MC install with so much crap.
Server went down last night.
It appears the hosting service is having a bit of an issue, which may well be terminal. I have a backup of the world, although it's a couple of days old. I'm hoping this will be resolved swiftly.
And we're sort of back! Switched company, but I transferred the world over and it's all up to date. I've sent out the server details, but let me know if you want them.. Some pm boxes are full!
Thanks for mentioning that, I was worried that it wasn't possible to do so. Now I can see that it easily is.Works fine for me, good job!
The only issue I had was I'd lost my waypoints but I've copied the old ones across and they work fine

Hmm - I logged into the new server, created a new waypoint and then logged out.
That created a new .points file <newip>.points.
Then all I had to do was open <oldip>.points and copy the contents into <newip>.points

I'm struggling with platinum and the easiest route seems to be sheldonite from asteroids.
I think I'm also going to have to get myself a jetpack, I was doing so well being 'green' too
We do. It's about 500 away from my base in the middle of the ocean. I'd recommend the advanced pack, as those asteroids are well spread out.

Funny you should post that, I just started a local server yesterday running FTB Unhinged (and a couple of additional mods like Treecapitator, MPSA and some non game changing ones like HUDs and maps.
I am starting to like GregTech, it means I can play on this server for a few weeks and still be working towards getting everything up and running, unlike mod packs where you can finish building everything in a couple of days. Takes a long time to get started though!
I'm still running an FTB Unleashed server which has largely been abandoned, but I still pop on occasionally to poke about with various bits of machinery.
If anyone wants access I'm happy to PM details.
I received a copy of our old FTB world from TP and I'm playing it offline as and when I can. Seemed silly to keep it running when it wasn't used.
Fun while it lasted though
