Looks right to me, I'm not sure about an E version though.

I got my p5k deluxe from allstarshop.com
Well after finding out i'd had something of a minor windfall today I decided i'm going to lose the commando & go p35.
went to the asus site to refresh my memory on pk5 dlxe details & found Asus p35 boards are breeding like rabbits there's now 7 variants
The ws one looks like the best design, with the angled sata ports, but will it clock as well...an more importantly, will it do raid as well?

But
the 64 ws u mean??
I think it might be a bit of a rip off:-
1) has no extra sata sockets if talking a ws mobo i'd expect that.
2) is almost a copy of the 975 ws mobo but it only has the p35's pci-e capacity of x16 think the 975 has 32 so all those long pci-e slots won't have the comparative bandwidth i don't think until the x38 appears. so if the gfx takes x16 the other 3x pci-e slots only have (4)/3 ??
looking at
From First Look: Intel P35 chipset
Not to impressed with any of the new models the P5KC might well interest a lot as it means the mobo may have a longer life having both ddr2 & ddr3 slots.
There's still the ROG version that isn't shown, though with my experience on the commando i don't really fancy that
Think it's probably gonna be like the 965 chipset a shedload of variants with the p5k dlxe or p5k3 (as ddr3 £ falls) being the best.

I'll bet the ROG one is ferking expensive as well, and it will have an in built chirping device (IBCD).
not forgetting the chocolate/d9 melting capabilityand it will have an in built chirping device (IBCD).
okay got me p5k deluxe and have it running - seems pretty good so far tough im not doing extreme clocking
1.048V for stock 6600 and 1.208V for 3ghz , seems very stable so far
Well 1st day with board. Stable with old oc from commando.
vcore is a bit less than commando not used the voltage damper yet.
Got a board yesterday which was a nightmare, detection etc., & post took forever, lost my gfx card in there as well. Thankfully got new board this am from scan which posted straight out the box. thanks
Main observations are sata ports access is ok with my 8800gts, am using all 6 sockets.
Agree totally with clunk re clear cmos position.
Miss the on board power/reset buttons, but in fairness, tha's bling compared to desire for a decent mobo.
Am going on holiday tommorow so that will delay my exploration a bit, but so far apart a false start , (asus qx again ) it feels a decent board, with some decent options.
pity cpu-z can't tell that this is a ddr2 not a ddr3 board
thought i'd still got gremlins until i saw the top left box
For 33 read 5 in proper money
Cpu-z Validated

Strange that DDR3 thing, I saw someone else with that as well. Doesnt do it on mine though Did you get bios 0307 or later?
Nope think i'm still on 0202 not got round to updating yet
Thanks in proper money now
yah 0202 did that for me and the bios fixed it cept i was reading 33- something and I was using CL 4 so it looks like it was a bit screwed ;P
Cool, I'll update now
Nice board, I only wish that the ide connector was up higher out of the way
On another note which is the best lan connection to use on this board, as I thought that Marvell was the better choice over the Realtek as the second lan will go for the ethernet modem ?
edit: According to ASUS UK it's now 0311, 2007/05/28 update
I think there was an 04xx one kicking about, not sure if its any good though
