bt infinity option 2 i was getting 55mb on install but its dropped to this.
I am on Option 2. Speeds still holding steady.

My one is really crap but download 4.5 mb file less than a minute I satisfied with,
Ok so this is my ****ty broadband atm. I'm at the furthest end of the exchange - 4 miles (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/SWTDU) but apparently, there's something closer for fibre (as mentioned by locals with fibre). I'm getting Sky Fibre September 3rd, with an "estimate" speed of 40Mb/s down. Is there anything I need to know, or purchase before switching which will result in a better connection? (databox?)
Not really, Openreach should do anything necessary to improve line quality e.g. disconnecting unneeded extension wiring, installing filters, etc.
