Went from one place where I was getting about 20Mb/s down and 1.1Mb/s up, to spending a year or so in broadband poverty, getting 1Mb/s down and 0.3Mb/s up if I was lucky.
I've now moved again and, although the speeds aren't great, I'm just grateful to be able to watch a YouTube or something on iPlayer without constant buffering, or download some files and browse the Internet at the same time!

Don't think my area will ever get cable and getting like 6.5 Mb down, 1Mb up and 50ms pings on adsl..

First world problems I know but I'd love something faster.

Currently getting 43Mbps down and 5Mbps Up.

Should be getting higher as BT screwed up and put us on their 40Mbps/10Mbps Plan rather than the 76/20 we paid for! Waiting for them to sort it out now!

Was 38Mb/s and 9.31Mb/s before we had powercut so the Line management system thinks it cant handle the full 40/10 we pay for but Sky have promised that we'll be up-to those speeds in the next 14 days again.
