On to the RIAT photos now! This puppy was hard to shoot! Grey clouds are not my friends.

I took the dog for a walk on Sunday evening. It was sunny and calm, and I saw five deer including a fawn. But I didn't have my camera. I took it with me this evening and it was cloudy, dim, and there were only two deer about quarter of a mile away. They harvested the wheat today, so maybe the deer were a bit more shy.
The 50-500mm just about saved it, although it was fairly dark so I had to shoot at iso2000, 1/100, f/9.
I tried hiding in some bushes to see if they would come any closer, up until I got a dirty look from another dog walker.

Worth it though, awesome shot and better than it would have looked against blue skies IMHO.

@Ruggerbugger - Don't want to sound offensive, it's a fantastic shot! But it does look almost like a CGI!
