This is overlooking Loch Tay in Perthshire from the North Bank. Taken on my 400D with kit lens, 2 winters ago. Was pretty pleased with the way it turned out and did have it in a gallery for a while but it closed down which was disappointing. Probably should get my act together to get it somewhere else.

Agreed, when I get around to trying to get in back in a gallery, I'll certain rotate it around 1-2 degrees anti-clockwise in PS.
Here is another one of mine. This time from Summer 2008, this is taken at sunrise on the top of Dune 45 in the Sossusvlei National Park in Namibia. I call it "Footprints in the Desert (or dunes)".

Caught this Virgin A340 in the briefest sunlight at Heathrow last week. Virgin take their aircraft names from the last three letters of the serial, so G-VMEG becomes "Mystic Maiden" for Mystic Meg. Look up your old National Lottery shows for that one

high iso of 500 so i lost a fair bit of detail removing the noise.

high ISO of 5000? - 500 you should be noise free with good exposure ..

was 500 bob, quite a bit of noise on the shot, it didn't help having a 2 year old on my shoulders at the time so i left it on full auto
have been reading up on sharpening and NR in cs5 so fingers crossed some of the others come out better when i get time to tinker.
it was the fairway of wollaton golf club where he decided to take a rest!

Looks a bit better the second time around, there is more detail in the shot. Still seems a little bright for my liking though this time around, before the light in the first shot.
Continuing the animal theme, here is one of a Lion Cub I took in Botswana back in 2008 (it was semi tame), entitled "Just Wait Until I'm Older".
