D'oh, went to order the phones4u deal just now, and it's gone
Penetrate? Amazing. You wouldn't get that on an iPhone thats for sure.

With the application Penetrate, do you have to download the data base?
Yes, you do.
As far as only legal things on the Market... are you saying Google do in fact have a screening process? I didn't think they did?
Hmm, I've come back to my Nexus One so it might not be the same for you, but can you not just go to the contact and add a picture to them? Is that not one of the basic functions most phones have these days?
You can sneak your way onto other people's secure WiFi...
I do feel a bit like a commoner now with this phone, at least with the N97 I was in a minority. TBH I don't care. Wouldn't swap it back.

Of course it's really good news. The bigger Android gets, the better app support will be
Penetrate works by having a database of default passwords for routers. It doesn't actually connect you nor does it break encryption so legally there's nothing wrong as far as i can see.
Using someone else's WiFi for yourself however is a lot more sketchy...
Bear in mind there are nes and gba emulator on the market which are definitely technically illegal. Google hasn't clamped down on emulators like apple, they seem to be a bit more lax!
