you dont plug the usb stick in when you know something is fishy..
also going to start and running msconfig and removing all the useless stuff from booting up also does wonders on virus removing
You don't always know when you have a virus. Please don't say you don't run AV 'because you would know when you had one' - some viruses, well most new viruses don't want you to know they are there - they hide on your PC so they can steal data etc. I'm sure most of the people on this forum would have an idea if they had a virus/how to avoid them in the first place but most of us still run AV - it's best to have multiple layers of security.
going to get Home Premium this time. i dont need extra ultimate stuff that i never use.
Home at £50 is certainly fairly tempting, particularly if we can quidco it from various places. What's the betting Microsoft Store exclude Windows 7 Pre-order from the quidco scheme?
i dont get them that often, id say once every 6 month, and tbh as far as my internet use goes is facebook, hexus ,msn and online gameing (COD4 atm) as far as i know theres no need to run AV then
just if i was going to whats the best free one to run? i love kaspersky but its not free and students arent very rich these days
That's really quite often! What are you doing - using pirated software or something?
AVG, AVAST and probably others have free to use versions.just if i was going to whats the best free one to run? i love kaspersky but its not free and students arent very rich these days
I'm very tempted by the Home Premium at £50.00. Must give the RC a play sometime.
Don't be fooled by the size of the case though, I have a few older PC games consisting of 3 CDs and they all fit into one DVD-size case, stacked together.
Yeah there is a special offer for UK users - as stated we get it for 50 notes if you preorder it from a participating retailer.
Loving Windows 7, lets hope there is a good offer/deal for UK customers!
