    Thanks.

Wow, if Abit adds the option to change SB-voltage this version would be very good!

For a friend who isnt overclocking but likes the red PCB for his windowed case, how would you rate this? Solid enough if not clocking? Anyone running 4GB of ram in it?

Yeh, I'm running 4GB at rated speed of PC2-6400. I'm sure once they get a good BIOS out the board will overclock.

It runs perfect in a non-overclocked envirement. It's first when you start clocking you start to notice some small kinks and bugs here and there.

Yes that seems to be the general concensus from this thread and reviews. Rock solid at stock with flakey overclocking / issues for some.

Well the beta did nothing for me using X9 multi. Still won't boot at anything above 1598 X 9 so it's bye bye time for this board...

Hi, i just got this board today myself with a 6600 core2duo cpu, i problem is building it together.

got my ddr2 ram in, cpu and graphics card but im curious about connnecting the power to the motherboard

    in the motherboard its mentions:-

    ATXPWR1 = 24pin connector - no problem there

ATX12V1 = 8pin connector, supplies power to CPU, system will not start without this connected, which im lost cos i cant seem to find any of my power leads that have 8pin, i have a 6pin for gfx card.
    l
ATX4P1 = No problems, this provides an auxiliary power source for devices on PCI-E slots.

my current psu doesnt have a 8pin power connector, and nor does another i brought, either dont have 2x 4pin connectors so i could connect the two together, can anyone help me!!!

Well, I finally got it to POST. Involved using a PCI graphics card, so either the PCI-E slot is dead, 8800GTX is dead, or PSU cant give enough power.

for the ATX12V1 should be an 8pin, but your 4pin will work.

Your PSU will have a 4pin connector for the CPU.

rang abit up they say it maybe faulty, rang my retailer up i got it from, now its RMA , which i take back friday on my day off work, not impressed at moment.

When i spoke to abit they said it should work with 4pin connector which you said as well, but still nothing on screen.

I was having the same problem as you and I've just fixed it. To fix it I actually unclipped and removed the SLI switch card and plugged it back in. This meant my PCI-E slot then worked. I was previously running off a PCI card. Try that?
