Well so far so good in regard to gameplay. But main gripe is the clunky server selection screen, would be nice to just list more localised servers than ones on the other side of the world. In beta was loads of killer creation/multiplay.co.uk servers now all i see is US servers mostly. Going to just trawl through and add most local servers to favs i spose.

I'm starting to get seriously pissed off with this game in the MP. There's no way for me to be able to take down the tanks or anything cos I can't choose any sort of RPG or anything like that, the best I can do is get about 10 feet away and C4 the bitch.

I just keep getting absolutely owned off tanks, helicopters, jeeps, mounted guns, UAVs, anything that isn't human! JUST %&£! OFF! :@

And now the servers have decided to pack in again. Every single game that ever came out in the last 2 years has been an absolute failure. I might as well just sell my gaming PC and buy a netbook.

Double click a server to join it.. "Please wait".. Box disappears.. Nothing at all happens. Anyone else getting that?

Engineers have the RPG, it only works on the smaller tanks really though and even then best from behind. All armoured vehicles are weakest at the back.

The larger tanks are meant to be delt with using C4, it is part of the fun, trying to sneak up and slap some on then running away sniggering to yourself!

Oh and the engineers fixing tool will 'unfix' a tank if an enemy is using it, ie destroy it.

Yeah the screwdriver actually wreaks vehicles, but i don't mind playing as a squad of 4 engineers if someone is up for it ?

I entered 'UK' into the right field, and hit search. (BF2 brought up all the server with 'UK' in the server name)

This working now. Easy to get a game on a UK server this way. I unlock the first spiner rifle this morning.

Anyone successfully used their limited edition unlocks? I put in the code where you're supposed to redeem it but still don't see any of the items. Tried putting it in again and it says it's already been used... bit annoyed about that now

Also is there a way of wiping your stats so you can start again?

Ah. Yes, now you can tell their woring; join a multilpayer game (Ranked). Exit the game, then join another game. Just when you chose which class and enter the battle, click on any of the default kit's weapons/gadgets. Above them you can now use one of the unlocks (like the new pistol, a new gun (which isn't all that) or the vehicle gear.

Ah thanks went in and noticed them! Just odd it doesn't show as it's unlocked under weapons and gadgets... it's been ages since I've play a FPS on PC (been converted to the 360) so this took a little getting used to! Was getting owned repeatedly but then tried the M1A1 and seemed to do alright with it now using the XM8 and actually have a positive kill death ratio now woo!

Ea are a joke when it comes to making sure their games actually work. Anyone who has ever had experience with the online joke that was their FIFA Ultimate Team knows this.

With FIFA it was cos their servers were overloaded and I'm guessing it's the same for this, you'd think a decent company would give themselves ample headroom for this kind of thing but EA seem happy to have their games fail for the first week or so.

Interesting so they put the servers back up and running when the majority will be at work lol they will claim the servers are good to go, then 5pm hits, rush hour for gamers getting in from work and the servers will lag like hell once again. EA/DICE couldn't get online working on day of release if their lives depended on it. Always been the same with their games xD 1943 was worse than BC2 is atm for the whole first weekend but they sorted the issue's quicker than they have for a game that they must of known just by the pre-order numbers alone that the player count was going to be astronomical.

Whole reason why I now buy most games on the 360 as they work from the get go, albeit with matchmaking but guess what, it works where us on PC with the dedicated servers are stuck to one or two servers we can get working.

As for the box disappearing apparently its an auth issue or the server is full and it won't show the message saying it is. The other problem I have come across is adding friends and when you press the button to add them you get the box saying message sent and then you have to click the ok button 3 times to get rid of it as it keeps popping up.

I am actually tempted to dump the PC version and wait for the 360 version to drop a little in price then grab that just so I can get some decent games in.
