To those of you have connection issues. Try disabling uPnP on your router, sounds weird I know. But it has worked for a lot of people.
Seems to have helped, instead of getting disconnects I just get massive lag now and my frames drop to nothingness for a few second. I can live with that.

I dont like to M60 anyway its far too big on my screen, I should probably change the FOV to be honest.

Unlocked that a few hours ago. Far too noisy for my liking. Still prefer the XM8 Compact

Pistols only during a random Conquest map (the snowy one). Loving the WWII M1911 .45

Also, had my first experience of Squad Deathmatch. Bloody intense! Loved it!

Hah yeah I guess mainly because I play this game a lot with my housemate who's relatively new to gaming... and if we really team up (sticking with each other, driving each other about, etc etc) I'll end up dying a lot as he's not really any good but its a right laugh.

If I just do my own thing or play on a squad who's actively working at the objective I tend to excel - although it's flippin annoying all the random disconnects I get - going to try that uPnP tip later.

And although the M60 is always complained about I've started playing as the medic a lot now and its so fun to use I run into the line of fire so much now to get that sneaky health pack in there haha. Although I don't revive people in the middle of a very outnumbered battle because it's just insta-death again, and I hate it when it's done to me.

    Re: Battlefield Bad Company 2

I am now finding when I refresh the server list I get very few servers returned sinced R8 was launched. The top few with ping below 100 are always full and the rest are high pingage 170-210.

Finding it difficult to put any time into this because of all the bugs. I saw that they released the map pack though which is nice.

    Re: Battlefield Bad Company 2

Got bored of the MP with this game very quickly.
The bugs annoyed the hell out of me.
The random disconnects or crash to desk tops.
The inability of some people to play the game.
Vehicles just spoil it for me, always some t**t that sits in a tank, firing from basically spawn to spawn.

I will stick to my CoD4 thanks.

I'm finding it ok - nothing special though i do enjoy a game or 2 - some classes and weaps are way over powered..

Still the usual people who can't fly or use vehicles properly. But meh thats been like that since 1942.

And please for the love of god! fix the damn server browser - its horific!

With the server browser, if you let it start browsing, then after 5 seconds or so click cancel, it usually populates the list immediately.

I do this, but it doesn't show ping when I do.
    Society's to blame,

You need to run the game as Administrator.

Finally just score 25560 points for a round. No idea how I did it lol Was on the iGi server in a tank, took out a few enemies, destroyed a rush station and then took out a few tanks. Levelled at the same time. I see screenshots come out white and no screenshot of the game. Is this a bug with the game or do you need to use a 3rd party app to get a screenshot

In battlefield 1942 I was always in the planes and now with the modern battlefields I prefer to take the tanks. Most my unlocks at present are for tanks and upgraded range, optics, smoke screens etc. I'll let good pilots man the helicopters. I am fine causing havok on the ground with a tank and a load of enemies hiding in buildings

Only recently have to drop some of the settings right down to help with the frame rate, the 8800GTS is showing it's age now.
