Do we know why the patch is so big? I'm guessing it includes extra maps.
indeed it does, map pack is not enabled as they are checking for bugs we didn't find before allowing us to add the map pack enabled switch

Lots of changes in the patch.
Took me about 30 minutes on 10mb connection & that was when it was put online at 7am, figured I'd update it asap so that I don't have to restart update due to my dodgy broadband. Do note though that a percentage of people are experiencing lag after updating, myself included.Originally Posted by roorooroo

Mine is unable to find ANY games online after updating :S anyone else having these problems?

left it for a bit then tried again. working ok now. I cant fly stuffis there only helicopters? No planes? Either way i nosedive into the ground.

Only helicopters, its a squad based shooter rather then BF2 massive multiplayer.
And the new patch has made it a lag fest.
It didn't fall off, it merely became insufficient at it's purpose and got a bit droopy...
no one has been able to reproduce the lag unless the servers have been overloaded.
Just been playing for the last couple of hours. Overall, for me its a big improvement. I can now hit people with the sniper rifle, other weapon hits make more sense. Stabbing is better. Some weapons still seemed over powered, and yet at other times, someone can take a grenade or a shotgun to the face, only to survive and kill you.
Playing on TOGA I noticed quite a lot of rubber banding, but that could have been load creating lag.
I like that I can now have crouch as toggle, and they've implemented a queueing system for servers.
Had a quick play last night first of all, lost all my custom bindings. Crouch seems broken for me (yes I am aware of the new crouch toggle).
At the moment, it is worse than before for me. But then again I haven't played in almost three weeks. So it may take a while to get back into the flow of things.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
