    Virgin Media, 60Mb.

Happy with the download speed, but it's about time VM decided to address their crappy upload speeds.

Re: Your broadband speed - post here

The contention ration at BT substations is one of the biggest problems. Anything over 50 is possibly a problem but when kids get home from school it can really jump way up and over 60 -and that's when my usual 6GB drops to 0.5 or even ZERO it seems

but then again I pay well for it .. I'm I happy well no wish ee would bring out a plan for the phone instead of charging per min for each call and drop the price by maybe £10 ..
had no problems .. just everyones hard up these days ..

Re: Your broadband speed - post here

You are going to hate me but I am very happy with my Fibre optic broaband service. It is well worth it in my opinion.
We are with EE (my wife has mobile with them so we get £5 off), we pay ~£20 per month for the "up to 38Mb/s" fibre speed. On speed tests I regularly get download speeds of 37.8Mb/s and uploads of over 10Mb/s !!! Very Happy. To be honest, I expect we would get this speed with any ISP using the BT infinity fibre network as a backbone because our house is right next to our local exchange.
