    Re: EVE-Online

2-4 hours a night is a lot mate, most of us don't spend that long on there on weeknights

*everyone* is useful in lowsec. You could train something like a blackbird and be invaluable to a fleet, although if you tell us what kind of things you like to do we can build it around that. For example, I almost always fly a support ship of some kind (and have high skills in that area), while Storm goes for pure DPS.

Voice is hugely useful, I won't hide that, but it's not required. FC's are always required to have a microphone, so if you want to train to command fleets, you'll need one. Having said that, poundland sell basic ones, so no excuse

As for agents. There are L1 ->4 within one jump of our location with Amarr. We can grind you to L3's in no time L4's within a week probably.

Any ship losses in low sec (assuming its a cruiser / frig) I don't mind covering for you. They are that cheap anyway, we'll chuck ships your way
If you need a mission running ship to bring in ISK, I'll help you fund that

    Re: EVE-Online

Well currently I am 32 days off training the skills I need to fly the Drake I have kitted out and then I need to mine hard and mission run hard to get the isk to buy it in the first place. I am a Caldari fighter build atm so I was aiming for Caldari standings with agents, should I focus on these first or aim for the Amarr? I also have a few builds planned for my current Caracal and a few Hawk/Harpy builds planned for now.

I will send the pm's to you Agent that I sent to Allen yesterday which has the current skills I have now and I will have to wait till I get home to tell you the skills I have waiting to be learnt for the drake build. There are a few other skills I am waiting on which I will then train for the likes of added bonuses to the ships I plan to fly. I am aiming to be a fighter build so I could be support or front line or frigate class for small support etc. I was also looking at building a rokh further down the line as a snip ship as I have heard these things can snip from almost 150KM out, not sure if this is correct though as I am still learning the ropes as I have been winging it for the most part xD

I will look into the Logitech desktop mic's I have seen as the local PC World was getting shot of them for around £4 over the bank holiday weekend. Hopefully they are still on offer, if not I am sure I can get one from somewhere Unless the MS Xbox 360 mic headsets can be used as I have two of those sitting about that are doing nothing. Although if you use something ventrillo or smething similar then I could use the netbook with it's built in mic for that, if you use the ingame voice/audio then I will have to look into a mic.

As for hauling my gear out to the system you are in, I have a badger mk2 which I can carry the majority of my gear in if I can get an escort. As for my ships I will just use a shuttle and transport the few ships I will need to use like the merlin, cormorant, caracal and badger. If I was to say what I am aiming for I would say fast ships around the merlin scale and possibly to a Rokh/Raven for solo pvping in the spare time. As for a corp based role, I suppose you would class a tech 2 frig as a support role? Essentially I will generally fight where needed in a corp, I have no set goal to reach, I would be as happy flying around in Harpy's that I would be lobbing cruise missiles from a drake/raven

sadly I started the night by hauling other peoples stuff and then mined, reprocessed, transported and sold my own. It was just a HUGE mission belt. All the roids where smartbomed though so I don't think it was supposed to be mined but the hulk just laughs at smartbombs

    where are you located now?

    Re: EVE-Online

Had an awesome night of pew pew. 55 Kills for 6 losses, in our alliance, about the same again for blues. Massive stand up fight on a gate.

Lost my Navy Mega in one battle, then my slave set when I headed back in a taranis. Worth it. Still achieved 70% efficiency.

My corp keeps getting war decced and I'm a terrible PvP'er. It's a bit depressing at the moment hehe, I really just want to get out and run some missions.

Are you in Caldari space? If so, just move out to a quieter area

    Re: EVE-Online

Hmm, I downloaded the Eve online trial last night and played it for a few hours this morning. It was totally over my head, there seemed like to much stuff to keep track of and learn. The thought of figuring it all out was a bit daunting. Doesn't seem like my type of game. At least I gave it a try .

I was the same but seriously stick with it for atleast a month or two and watch the corp chan that you auto join when you join the game and watch the chats, you will find no end of information in there and ask people I have found if I am lost or stuck and I ask someone I generally get an answer

I won't lie to you, Eve does have quiet a steep learning curve, but the effort is worth it if you are willing to give it a try.

Why not hop on the Ekchu public channel (EKCHUAH PUBLIC), just explain that you are from Hexus.

Lies it's a grooming chan for the corp and we visit, end up chatting and get moulded into the corp

Joking aside. I quit Eve over 2 years ago because I was flying solo and didn't have a clue what the hell I was doing. I then met a few pilots I got to know and the game unfolds. Joining a corp you have a wealth of information there. Just ask and they will explain all

Jay I love that picture myself it's so true lol
