Just curious how others interpret this ?

Well if I put my pedantic hat on I'd say the photo-a-day thread is for posting one picture per day, whether it be the 'best' shot from a day's shooting or as a true one-a-day personal 'project'. If you have a plethora of pictures to post then they really should be in a thread of their own as a collection or 'album' if you will.

That was my interpritation of it, if you want 'the letter of the law' the thread starter stated...

Incidentally, you can post up to 3 photos in 1 post as long as they're within the forum boundaries.

No-one is going to enforce it, but it's just courtesy to 'play the game'.

Personally I see no problem with posting several photos, so long as Kata doesn't come back off one of this adventures and post the hundreds of photos that he usually does in his little threads .

Gives me something to look at every day...

I'd say just carry on, no-one's gonna mind, it's only some photos .

Even better to post only a few at a time though - builds anticipation and gives us something to look at every day without the thread becoming too focused on just one person and moving too fast for other people to get some views Of course, if you want to draw attention to a series and have it viewed as a whole then letting it star in its own dedicated thread is even better

I dunno if anyone's done this before, but they do it on a local forum I'm a member of. Basically a different photo is posted every day, it doesnt have to be by the same person, and it doesnt matter if 2 or more people post one, it's just a way that you can show off one of the best photos you've taken recently (it doesnt have to have been taken that day!)
