old lady = 70-200 2.8 with 2x tele @ 293mm f5.6 ISO800 1/200 (with the 2x tele you loose 2 stops of light and it changes from a 2.8 to a 5.6)
maisy = 70-200 2.8 @ 110mm 2.8 ISO400 1/320

For some reason Windows 7 keeps changing colour profiles so the photo viewer looks different to Canon DPP and Firefox. A few of the photos look more yellow than I thought. My monitor's colours are pretty bad as well.

The problem with having to grab a camera and taking shots quickly through a window is I don't get time to put on my CPL! I think I'm going to have to start leaving it on the lens..

That's just the crummy lens. It's a Sigma 50-500mm, which is rather soft in my experience. God knows why I bought it. Probably the "wow, 500mm" factor. That robin photo was at f/7.1, which I would have thought would be enough to sharpen it a bit. It was also after 3pm, so the sun was disappearing.

The colour comment was more in relation to some of the others on my Flickr account. They seemed ok in editing, then looked yellow when I uploaded them.

This is a very very very old picture, before i really new anything about editing, but i still like it.. simple shoot with my x g/f, found it on a random cd and thought id upload it today

dont like the annoying lights in the background, but still. just thought id share it with every one..

Going across to the inlaws for dinner on Christmas Day and this was the view in my mirror. Penrith shrouded in fog with the sun lighting up the clouds over Ullswater.

One of those times you wished you had a decent camera (and knew how to take use it).
