All I can say is that so far running GPU3 my ppd has if anything been a couple of hundred points higher. Not got any advmethods units yet (if they exist) but I've only folded 1 unit. Will tell if I get anything but seeing as everyone is saying it's true I suspect that it is.
Right, just downloaded a unit which has a 28 day deadline for the GPU3 client, we'll see where this goes...
Where abouts do i apply the flags for the GPU client, in a shortcut again ?

if you're on the systray GPU3 client then go to system tray, right click ->configure and then add the flag -advmethods to the last tab I think.

My 980x returned the first set of Bigadv results. Going to switch it out of my desktop machine, and drop it into my server. I can only get just over 4Ghz stable on it - If I clock it up over 4.15 Ghz then it drops out after 12-36 hours, which is frustrating when I get to work. I'm gunning for 4.2-4.4 Ghz on my gaming rig and this just doesn't quite cut the mustard.
Any ideas what voltages I need to tweak if it's stable for long periods but then bsod's. It's not like it's not stable, it's just not stable 24/7 for folding.
Not me, certainly, although I did manage to check in 4 WU this weekend (2x 2M and 2x 500K) to grab a cool 13k pointsAnother WU check in should actually push me into the top 100 - it may be time to start folding overnight as well as over the weekend

Actually, I think my gaming rigs fallen over (BSOD) again. My ppd are lower for the last 2 uploads that I would have thought...

Sorry to see that your servers are dropping off. Was hoping that the team numbers were going to continue at the higher rate for a while but on reflection that's a hell of a lot points that your servers have "donated" to the cause.
My production has come to a complete stand still.
My GPU3 client picked up a 5M unit (protein), which has disappeared and somehow replaced itself with a peptide one - i know the deadline hadn't passed as it was around 4 days into a 12 day time frame.
Secondly, my SMP client has completely died, failed to collect WU's for about 2 hours straight so i deleted the work folder contents and now its parmed me off with the a4 core which doesn't run on all 8 threads even though the -SMP flag is still active in the shortcut

I'll keep some of the servers going that I can and I do have another 3 of their way from dell but just depends on how long I can use them for and they won't be as high end as the ones that have been removed.belly gonna get ya!

I still cant get any bigadv units to run as nothing gets downloaded.
