Sorry I totally forgot about your memory problem. I know a few guys at corsair and will give them a call tomorrow and see what I can find out.

I'm following this thread since March-April, but this is my 1st posting. Saw there were BIOS issues with this MB. Thought I'll wait until May, problems will be solved and I'll just buy a nice MB with few minor remaining problems though, but all right. Now my "faith is shattered"...
Sean which boards I'd better look at?

Well, maybe I shouldn't be discouraged since I only plan to OC the E4300 on this board (want to buy the parts coming Wednesday) running @ 2,6 max @2,8Ghz?

    Parts I'd purchase:
    Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI, E4300, Patriot 2G kit 800Mhz CL5, Case Antec P180, already bought Seagate320GbHDD, Corasair620W, IDE-DVDRW-LG-HN42, floppy, not sure about the VGA (maybe a 8600GTS).

For me this board works, but I can't get my FSB to 375.

And I haven't tried the PCI slots.

Since I didn't get a reply from Abit, I've asked Komplett (the supplier) what to do. I'm hoping they'll exchange my board for a different 650i board where all of the PCI and PCI Express slots work consistently, I don't have to reset the CMOS every few days and my USB devices continue to work for extended periods of time...

Perhaps with the many problems people have with this board it should be renamed the:

    "Abit Faulty FP-IN9 SLI"

I am lucky then. My board works good. It tops out at FSB 375MHz, but It's more likely to be the E4300 issue (FSB wall and stuff). PCIs are working just fine. With beta 13 is stable as a rock. Maybe I'll borrow a E6600 to test if it is absolutely max FSB, but as far I haven't touched NB/VTT voltages, so I have hope.

Apart from the fact this board is diving me crazy.. and "decides" when she wants to fire,

Ive also noticed that I am unable to charge any of my appliances, Dell AXIM x50 or Erricson K750i through the USB interfaces. They will sync up but not charge.

They all charge on my Dell 8600 or Toshiba A10 or Compaq nw8240 or my 2 year old gigabyte MB in my MediaCentre.

    But not on this Board.

Any other takers can test this???

ok! so i was WRONG. turns out the faulty component in this equation was.......... ME! lol i reseated them, they're runnin in dual channel mode, using EPP profiles, and best of all, NO ERRORS IN MEMTEST!

anyone who's ever havin problems with your memory, your first and best option is to RESEAT THEM! lol don't go all ballistic like i did.

M8s this is the real question again - so, anyone who has this board and ABIT_Sean and Gilgamesh with first positive postings about this mobo being a good board. It does look like this good board has loads of bad problems. Do answer to the people who want/wanted to buy this mobo - Does it or does it not worth buying it?!
