    Hmmm,

Really tempting to change from Virgin Media to the new price plans from BE

Think it might be worth it as I am currently paying £37.99 per month for the XL package

do it! hand in your 30 days notice now and then switch , im deffo not regretting cancelling vm for be, getting 7mb speeds for less than vm can offer. no traffic shaping either. and the router is quite nice, no problems port forwarding like my friends d-link one. sign up as a referral from lee and you both get 1 month free

    ditto

I have to speak to bethere as I want my IP address resolving to my domain. I'm pretty sure this can be done as I did it with nildram ages ago so off I go now to see if this is possible.

    Re: BeThere.co.uk - Wow

I see the website has not been updated yet with the new prices as it still has the pro at £40 a month...

Been checking for months and it always says im too far away from the exchange, did it just now and it says i can get it, seeing as work pay for my connection, i can see a migration coming along...

I tried yesterday and they would only do it for £37 pm and we have tv/phone!
I even quoted other bb deals and they wouldn't do it.

    Re: BeThere.co.uk - Wow

Has anyone else had problems with the routers that Bethere provide?
Weve had BeThere in my house for a good few months now but the router is rubbish, it disconnects itself randomly and has to be turned off and back on before it will work again. Its also really fussy about signal, my desktop has real difficulty keeping a stable connection and often just disconnects and wont reconnect for minutes at a time, sometimes not until I restart the computer. Youd think it was a question of weak signal in my room, but the rooter is right outside my door and my laptop whcih sits on my desk right next to my desktop, has full signal nearly all the time.
Im not trying to fault Bethere, they provide a great service and their customer support is great too, I was just wondering if anyone has had problems with their routers?

Yeah clockwork killa mines the same.

It's pants and I've had to turn the wireless off unless I need to use it in order for it to be stable.

Seeing as I use my PC 90% of the time which is wired this is not a problem.

You could use a different router? I have the Netgear DG834N plugged into my Be connection, and it works fine.
