Bought and tested out a Vulture last night.
Just like having my Eagle back but with the added bonus of not blowing up if someone blows on it too hard
Knight 1: We are now no longer the Knights who say Ni.
Knight 2: NI.
Other Knights: Shh...
Knight 1: We are now the Knights who say..."Ekki-Ekki-Ekki-Ekki-PTANG. Zoom-Boing. Z'nourrwringmm.
I was flying my Asp and dropped into a Strong Signal Source to find five guys from one of the factions I'd just been blowing up at a RES. The comms came up something like, "I can't believe that worked. They actually fell for it" and then they proceded to attack.
Four were flying Vultures. I forget what the fifth was.
To be fair, it wasn't easy, but a few minutes later I was heading back to base for 8,000 Cr worth of repairs, about 3000 Cr of ammo and over 300,000 Cr of bounty claims!!
It's all in how you fly...
Had they been in Sidewinders, I'd not have needed any repairs!
I got my first interdiction last night... I thought I was doing well until I realised I really wasn't! I am in stock Side winder and the NPC opponent was also in one I believe. So, for me, I'd be happy taking a knife to a gun fight as currently I feel like I have a pointy stick that I still can't use effectively!
I boosted into supercruise but got followed. Luckily dropping out of super cruise made the NPC over shoot and then lose me
edit: I think it was an NPC. I have a suspicion I entered Open rather than Solo last night by accident.
My list of previous murder fines would disagree.
I lost my temper in a RES because a bunch of piddly little Cobra gits kept up that trick of stealing kills at the last moment. Rather than rage-quit, I took advantage of them being mass-locked by the asteroids... TBH, the nearby Viper cops were more of a problem.
Pop goes the weasel... Watch the power plant hp's.
Top tip: If you want to hear a loud "Bong!" noise and get spun around, just let a huge rotating asteroid thump the side of your mining Cobra while scooping
Heh, used to be great when you got hit by multiple rail guns - you'd get the same spinning movement.
Grrr just spent an hour exploring Frigaha to stumble into some pirates. Boom, dead, and to make it worse I have lost ALL my system data of places I have visited since I started
Looks like the community exploring goal at Tsu has now completed. Anyone seen any new ones worth looking at?
Edit to add: I found a list https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=113495
