islasian, i was jus' jokin. I sort of "jumped on the bandwagon" that the thread is long and stylish signatures make it longer. Dumb of me. You're right to ask about my remark. Donno what got into me. What really worries me is SHSPVR's situation. Could this be that something's fried from the card's excessive heat? I think I shall be looking into that heat-sink option as a first order of business.
As for card heat, I have not tested it with the box open. I do have an ATI AIW 9800, 2 Hauppauge 150's, a P4 2.8 processor, 3 hard drives and 1 gig of ram all in the same mid tower Antec box with the 550, and have had no heat related issues. I run 2 fans, in addition to the power supply fan.

Yes ATI is still monitoring it. GBPVR support was one of the recent benefits.

Yes, you're right. But there's still one thing I'd like to see in the drivers; no audio delay.

I bought one of those drop amps from the guy who posted a while back with his amplifier tutorial. I ended up finding one of the 4 port 7db gain amps on an ebay auction for $7. It works GREAT! The picture really cleared up with this thing! No more ghosting, or grain in the picture! Recommended.
I too agree that ATI has been strangely quiet lately. Andrzej popped in once to tell us that answers were on the way. That was the last we've heard anything...
backlund which one did you get PDI or Electroline drop amp?.
