Hexus Android Apps thread will help you there.... I take it your scroll wheel was broken, your search box unavailable and your common sense lacking?

Looks like T-Mobile released the 2.2 update over the weekend. However if you are in the UK don't install it. They released the German ROM for the UK phones xD Well the UK ROM with a bunch of German apps)
Noticed the update this morning but as I was on 3g couldn't be bothered, looks like the update has now been pulled as its not available any more.

good going T-mobile
*slow clap to mock*
They should just let us all root our own phones, keep our warranties and whack 2.2 on ourselves.
We can't bodge it up as worse as all the networks have in the UK can we?
Work. my boss sits behid me so its, minimal sized window, quick scroll and quick post. Ninja style
Right, phone arrived, on charge. So how do I know if it has the AMOLED screen or the other one? Not that it matters to me. Just curious.
I must say though, it does look like a rather nice phone
Lol sorry for the sarcasm, don't take it too seriously! The only way to tell is to look on the box. On an AMOLED Desire it will say on the spec list "Display - 3.7" AMOLED Touch sensitive screen" where as on the SLCD ones it will just say "Display - 3.7" Touch sensitive screen" AFAIK!

I still don't see why so many people are getting all angry at the networks for their free significant OS version upgrade, that wasn't even talked about when the phone went on sale, is taking a bit longer than they would like to appear. The mistakes like this with T-Mobile and the problems with the O2 ROM are regrettable and that is fair enough. But the general hard time they get for giving you free stuff is ridiculous.
I know firmware updates have been around for years, I updated the firmware on my K750i a couple of times. But then the next year SE would release a new phone with a different case and essentially the same hardware but better software. Did they offer a firmware upgrade? no. Same goes for cameras.
I don't like how everyone feels entitled to the latest and greatest version of the OS on their handset. Yes I know the OS itself is free, but there is a lot of additional costs that the networks and the handset manufacturers have to deal with. Do Google provide HTC with training manuals and technical support manuals for Android? I doubt it. So that needs to be updated by them when a new version is released or pushed out. LeeDroid doesn't need to do that. If HTC or the networks make a mistake and brick a phone, then they have to replace it. LeeDroid does not.
Either root your phone and install a custom ROM (or even the basic HTC build) or just wait until the networks issue an update. I simply doing see the point in getting upset over it.
very nice looking
